Regular liquid fertilisation helps maintain vibrant coloration and steady growth, while adequate iron levels enhance its warm orange tones. CO₂ injection is recommended to promote compact internode spacing, improve colour development, and prevent legginess. Medium to high lighting is essential for achieving the plant’s signature orange and pink hues.
Best suited for midground to background placement, this Rotala variety grows into dense, bushy groups when planted in clusters. A fine-grain substrate helps anchor stems securely, especially after removing the pot and cleaning off rockwool. Good water circulation ensures healthy nutrient distribution and prevents lower leaf shading.
Remove the plant from its pot and gently rinse away excess rockwool before planting. Insert stems individually, leaving a small amount of spacing between them to allow light penetration and reduce shading of lower leaves.
