Cryptocoryne crispatula is an elegant aquatic plant native to Southeast Asia, admired for its long, narrow leaves and graceful, flowing appearance. Depending on the variety and growing conditions, the leaves may display gently undulating margins and colours ranging from bright green to olive-green, adding texture and movement to the aquascape.
This adaptable Cryptocoryne is an excellent choice for the midground or background of planted aquariums, where its ribbon-like foliage creates a natural, riverbank effect. Once established, it is hardy and relatively undemanding, thriving in a nutrient-rich substrate where its extensive root system can develop. Like other Cryptocorynes, it may experience temporary leaf melt after planting before producing healthy new submerged growth.

This plant is supplied as an in-vitro tissue culture plant, produced under sterile laboratory conditions. It is free from algae, snails, parasites, and pesticides, making it an excellent choice for planted aquariums and shrimp tanks.
Like most Cryptocoryne species, Cryptocoryne crispatula may experience temporary leaf melt after planting while adapting to submerged conditions. This is a normal part of the acclimation process, and healthy new leaves will emerge once the plant has established a strong root system. For the best results, plant it in a nutrient-rich substrate and avoid disturbing the roots after planting.
