Cryptocoryne parva is one of the smallest Cryptocoryne species used in aquariums, forming neat clumps of narrow green leaves that stay low and compact. Its miniature size makes it especially useful in the foreground of planted aquariums and nano layouts where a natural, grassy rosette effect is desired.
This Sri Lankan species grows slowly and rewards stable conditions. Compared with many other Cryptocoryne, it benefits from stronger lighting and a consistent carbon supply. Once established, it spreads gradually by runners and can form an attractive low colony without frequent trimming.

This plant is supplied as a healthy potted aquarium plant. Remove the pot and rock wool carefully, rinse the roots, and plant individual rosettes into the substrate with the crown kept just above the surface. A nutrient-rich substrate and stable conditions will help it establish successfully.
