DESCRIPTION

Anubias nana ‘Ice’ -TC

Anubias nana ‘Ice’ is a striking aquatic plant known for its light green to almost white leaves, adding a unique and captivating contrast to any aquascape. This slow-growing rhizome plant is perfect for both beginner and experienced aquarists seeking a low-maintenance, visually distinctive addition to their aquarium.

Key Features:

Distinctive Coloration: Light green to nearly white leaves create a stunning contrast against darker plants and hardscape.

Low Maintenance: Easy to care for, making it ideal for low-tech setups and beginner aquarists.

Slow Growth: Maintains a compact, tidy appearance with minimal trimming required.

Versatile Placement: Can be attached to rocks, driftwood, or other decorations to enhance visual appeal.

Care Requirements:

Lighting: Low to medium light; avoids high-intensity light to reduce algae growth on leaves.

CO₂: Not required, but supplementation can promote faster growth and more vibrant leaves.

Water Parameters: Prefers slightly acidic to neutral water, pH 6.0–7.5 | Temperature 22–28 °C.

Growth Rate: Slow; maintains compact size and neat appearance with minimal maintenance.

Maintenance: Regular water changes and stable water parameters support healthy growth; trim any dead or damaged leaves as needed.

Planting Tips:

  • Attach to Hardscape: Secure the rhizome to rocks, driftwood, or other aquarium decorations. Do not bury the rhizome to prevent rot.

  • Optimal Display: Place where its light-colored leaves contrast against darker plants or substrate for maximum visual impact.

  • Propagation: Divide rhizomes carefully, ensuring each section has at least one healthy leaf, and reattach to hardscape.
