Natural Rainbow Gravel

A naturally varied blend of colour, shape and texture.

Natural Rainbow Gravel is a beautiful blend of smooth, naturally shaped stones in soft earthy shades of beige, sand, taupe, grey, muted pink and warm brown.

Rather than relying on bold or artificial colour, its “rainbow” character comes from the subtle variation found throughout the gravel. Each stone contributes a slightly different shade, shape and texture, creating a wonderfully organic appearance reminiscent of a naturally weathered riverbed.

The larger grain size and mixture of rounded and irregular pieces make this gravel particularly effective for adding texture and scale to an aquascape.

Ideal for:

  • Nature-style aquascapes
  • River and stream-inspired layouts
  • Planted aquariums
  • Natural riverbeds and banks
  • Creating transitions around larger hardscape
  • Mixing with finer gravel and sand
  • Paludariums and natural displays

Why we like it

Soft earthy colours • Naturally varied stones • Weathered appearance • Beautiful texture

Natural Rainbow Gravel is all about subtle variation. Its mixture of warm and cool natural tones gives an aquascape character without competing with the plants or hardscape.

The softer beige and sandstone colours pair beautifully with wood, while the grey and muted darker stones introduce enough contrast to keep the substrate visually interesting.

It is especially effective when mixed with finer gravel or sand. Using different particle sizes around rocks and wood can create the gradual transitions seen in natural streams and riverbanks, giving the aquascape a more established and realistic appearance.

Preparation:
Rinse thoroughly before use to remove dust and loose particles.
