DESCRIPTION

Alternanthera rosernavig

Introduction:
Alternanthera rosernavig,  is a bold stem plant prized for its eye-catching magenta to copper-colored leaves. Native to South America, its vivid hues are perfect for midground or background placement in aquascapes, especially under higher light conditions. This Ready to Grow version—delivered in tissue culture—is free from pests, algae, and snails, offering a clean and healthy start.

Care Requirements:

  • Water Parameters:
    • Temperature: 22–28 °C
    • pH: 5.5–7.5
    • Water Hardness: 2–10 dGH

  • Nutrient Needs:
    Thrives with strong lighting, regular CO₂ supplementation, and nutrient-rich water—especially iron and micronutrients—to maintain vivid coloration.

  • Tank Setup:
    Best suited for midground to background use. Plant in small clusters and space stems apart to allow light access. Responds well to high light and clean water.

Care Tips:
Rinse off tissue culture gel completely. Trim regularly to encourage new growth and maintain form. Replant stem tips to develop dense, colorful groupings. Watch for color shifting due to nutrient or light imbalances.
