Dennerle - Ludwigia palusrus 'Green' is available for pre-order – please confirm stock before ordering!
Ludwigia palustris 'Green' is a beautiful, fast-growing stem plant valued for its vibrant lime to bright green foliage and versatile growth habit. Unlike its red Ludwigia relatives, this variety maintains its fresh green colour, making it an excellent choice for creating contrast and balance within colourful aquascapes. Its compact leaves and dense branching make it suitable for both nature-style and Dutch-style planted aquariums.
This adaptable species grows quickly under favourable conditions and responds exceptionally well to regular trimming, producing dense, bushy groups that create a lush background or midground display. With adequate lighting, CO₂, and nutrients, Ludwigia palustris 'Green' develops healthy, compact growth while helping to create depth and texture in the aquarium.

This plant is supplied as a healthy, potted aquarium plant and is ready to be planted directly into your aquarium. Before planting, carefully remove the pot and rock wool from around the roots, then separate the stems and plant them individually into a nutrient-rich substrate. This allows each stem to establish a strong root system and promotes fuller, healthier growth.
Regular trimming encourages dense branching and helps maintain a compact, attractive appearance. Under good lighting and with adequate nutrients, this plant quickly forms lush green groups that provide excellent structure and contrast within the aquascape.
Please note: As this is a living plant, the size, number of stems, and appearance may vary slightly from the photographs depending on the season, growing conditions, and stage of development.
