Ludwigia sp. 'Super Red' is a stunning stem plant renowned for its intense ruby-red foliage and reliable colouration. Unlike many other red aquarium plants that require very high lighting to develop vibrant colours, this cultivar produces rich red tones even under moderate lighting, making it one of the easiest red plants to grow successfully.
Its upright growth habit and vivid colouring make it an excellent choice for the midground or background of planted aquariums. Planted in groups, Ludwigia sp. 'Super Red' creates a striking contrast against green foliage, adding depth and visual impact to any aquascape. Regular trimming encourages bushier growth and helps maintain a dense, colourful display.
