Natural Rice White Sand is a fine aquarium sand with a soft blend of ivory, cream and natural off-white tones, complemented by subtle grains of beige, gold, grey and earthy colours.
Unlike completely uniform white substrates, its gentle colour variation creates a more natural appearance while still bringing brightness and a sense of space to the aquarium. The result is a clean, refined substrate that works beautifully across a wide variety of aquascaping styles.
Its neutral colouring makes it exceptionally versatile, pairing effortlessly with dark driftwood, dramatic stone and lush green planting.

Natural Rice White Sand gives you the brightness of a light substrate without looking artificially white. The tiny variations between the individual grains add texture and character, particularly when viewed up close, while from a distance the substrate maintains a beautifully clean and understated appearance.
It is especially effective for creating foregrounds and pathways through planted aquascapes, where the lighter colour draws the eye through the layout and can help create a greater sense of depth.
Used alongside darker rocks or wood, the contrast can be striking. Combined with lighter stone and delicate planting, it creates a softer and more tranquil aesthetic.
Preparation:
