Seachem Replenish™ - Restore and Maintain GH

Overview: Seachem Replenish™ is a specialized blend of salts designed to replenish essential minerals that are typically removed during reverse osmosis (RO) or deionizing (DI) filtration. This product is vital for restoring General Hardness (GH) levels in aquariums, ensuring that both "soft" (sodium, potassium) and "hard" (calcium, magnesium) salts are reintroduced to the water. These minerals are crucial for the health of aquatic life, as a lack of them can cause osmotic stress—especially in species whose osmoregulation systems are adapted to mineralized environments. If left unchecked, osmotic stress can lead to osmotic shock, resulting in rapid fish mortality.

Directions: For optimal results, add 5 mL (1 capful) of Seachem Replenish™ to 40 L of water to raise GH by 1 meq/L (2.8 dGH). To restore mineral content in DI or RO water, a recommended GH level of 1-2 meq/L is ideal. This corresponds to adding 5 mL per 20-40 L of water.
